Kingston, (in Jamaica) Dec. 6.  At attempt having been made
to infringe the liberties of the inhabitants of this town,
two effigies, said to be very great likenesses, were, on
Saturday night last, put into a cart . . . the following
label appeared on his breast:
  I'll burn, or hang, whichever you think right,
  No pity ask:--I see eternal night.--
  My last efforts, my tacit rancour tell:
  My latter crimes by far my past excel,
